You can get ball valves and extra tubing at Home Depot or Rona. They're called John Guest fittings. If the drone you ask gives you a blank stare (they probably will), just ask where all the refridgerator ice-maker parts are.

lol - thanks, I'll head on there tomorrow, and I think I'm going to be safe and bring the parts with me. I remember when these places knew what they were talking about. not so much.

Lastly - the water that runs out from the end of the "taste" filter into your storage tank, that's aquarium water, right? So you can get tank water from either the ball valve or the storage tank - right?

ours has one line that comes out to a pressurized storage tank, and the other comes out to a hose we use to fill our tanks.
