The GVRD water is 10 ppm TDS White Rock water is 100ppm TDS. We test with a Myron meter which is calibrated regularly.

Last time my well water was tested was 2400 ppm tds, nice eh

after setelment tank, clorine treatment, softener, and rodi i get 57

anywhere from 7ppm to 17ppm.

Yup...so low here in Coquitlam that I stopped bothering to measure it. I too thought that my TDS meter wasn't working correctly when I first got it.

The tds here in Richmond is very low, which is why I only use a DI filter. The "tap water purifier" DI filter lasts a very long time before it needs to be replaced due to our low tds.

Yeah, my TDS measured about 5 and I also thought my meter was faulty.

So then 14 isn't out of line down here? I guess I shouldn't get too worried when my kids drink out of the tap. :)

Ya i get to buy bottled water

my wife has a cist in her kidney we think is from the water (she moved out here when she was 14, no ro back then)
