Kitchen and Bath silicone has mildew resistant chemicals in it and will wreak havoc on your reef. I think the stuff at Canadian Tire is a Mastercraft brand if Im not mistaken. |

how long do i need to let it cure before putting water in the tank. as well is there a faster way to speed up the curing process? |
I think for full strength, you have to wait until it is fully cured (~7 days).

would i be able to speed up the process? using a heated fan? |
I have put water in tanks a day or two after the silicone has been done.
Personally I would wait 48 hours. |
