See from what i heard its the Jebo fixtures, but i could be wrong? As with most products they are all manufactured by one manufacturer and then sold to different companies from there. I would take the risk on getting 12 bulbs to Calgary for roughly $120. Even if they are not great at least i will know.

Ok well since its almost Friday i think i will delay this until early next week. I am considering brining in 24 bulbs in total (2 boxes). This will work out to roughly $10.50/bulb, which is a smoking deal after all is said and done. This includes GST, brokerage fees and duties (hopefully).

Anyone else please pm me if interested. I will definitly have extras!

Hi Steve,
I would be interested in a couple 12000k's and a couple of actinics. I am pretty sure that is the same retailer I bought my first set of Jebo bulbs from and they have been just fine. I ran a brand new set of the Jebo 12000k and actinics in a brand new 24" lunar aqualight right next to a brand new set of coralife bulbs (also in a new 24" lunar aqualight). I set up a 6 foot tank with these two fixtures running side by side (same amount of time) and I could not see a single difference from one side of the tank to the other as it went through the different fazes (except that one side had a bluish actinic and the other was purple). Just thought this might help some of the others that are having concerns about these bulbs.

Have a great day
Eric

Alright today is the last day to put in your order. I will be placing my order online tomorrow. I will be purchasing for 2 boxes of 12 bulbs. Already 12 bulbs are spoken for so there is extras.

By the way, they also carry uv bulbs if anyone needs replacements. I am probably going to get 2 extra ones, at a fraction of the cost of a coralife unit.

Are they Square pin, or Straight pin?

SJSobczyk 02-23-2006 09:08 PM

They are strait pin but they do also offer converters from square to strait.

That is the other way around. The adapter adapts the straight to square.

If you'd be willing to ship a few up to my place. (Northern Alta) I'll pay for shipping. Then I'll take the following:

2x 12K
2x 50/50
1x 10K
1x Actinic

That shouldnt be too much of a problem. PM me with your final numbers so i can keep them in file!

Steve
