Medication to your kids with a huge ass needle, wow that might seem a little odd, id go with the truth, or go to a horse supply store, thats where i got my needles. Nice and big. i filled them with kalk and freshwater very high concentration and if you found my past post about aptasia, i had a huge problem, i am not aptasia free.

There are other types of syringes besides needle syringes. For example ...oral syringes. Just ask for a few of those, IMHO.

Cheers,

Ive tried absoultly everything to get rid of aptasia i had a serious problem hundreds of them, the only way i could get rid of them was a needle filled with high concentration of kalk. Joes juice is junk all it did was make them spread.

How do you know Joe's Juice was the cause of them spreading? They spread quite well on their own, and I have had good success with Joe's Juice.

peavy mart sells syringes. or any livestock place for that matter...not sure what it's like over in AB but I'm sure there are a lot of farmer stores

I know that joes juice was the cause in my case, i had the rock in a seperate tank with nothing else the aptasia was dosed with the juice and after a week there were almost 5 it close proximity. I think maybe if you were to inject the juice directly into the aptasia it might work better, but just feeding it seemed to **** it off.

Interesting. Maybe they have adapted to it

Does anyone know if there is such a syringe with a 6" needle or longer?

Maybe at some type of cattle supply store or something-- but i really doubt it as that is so long that the needle wouldn't insert into tissue properly-- it would just bend-- unless you are looking for a needle 6" long and the width of a pencil-- then in that case-- just sharpen a pen tube---

You can attach airline hose or use some rigid tube found at Big Al's or LFS -- take a syringe with you and then fit it to the end-- thats probably your best option...

great idea, I didn't think of that. Now, which solution is the solution:mrgreen: , Kalk water or hot water? Off I go to find the world's smallest rigid plastic tube.
