Workhorse 7 is a ballast you see for sale. It can run upto four bulbs I think that are t5Ho, PC or VHO.

To overdrive all you do is attach all four leads to one bulb(thing its the yellow wire). I tested it by first doing one, then adding another and another and so on. Just to see what the difference is. I have not notice any more heat then normal.

when I ran F32T8s at 110watts, they were screamin hot...way too hot to handle! mind you, VHOs are pretty hot to touch when they're running too.

yup WH7 is what I used to do my tests.. twice the heat 15% more light..
