i took about 25 pictures and that is the only one that worked!!! o well...im going to get a Nicon D50 for my graduation present so i should get better shots.any other tips for a great shot?????

I usually get about 1 picture I'm happy with out of every 20 or so so you're about average I'd say :razz:

lol, i would like to up that average...im in a photography class at my school and i get to borow a $1300 camera tomorow so i will sho you the shots i get form that....hopefuly they are better!!!

Great clam shot!! For reef shots I personally jut use the fastest shutter speed available (sports setting for the auto setting crowd) As depth of focus is usually not an issue unless you are trying for a sense of tank depth picture, this will greatly increase the sharpness of your pic. We are talkin about reefs here so the lighting should handle the fast shutter speeds.

im just on my lunch break right now but will hopefuly be posting pics after work... Also, the camera that im using from school is a Nikon D70 and i set the shutter up at the fastest so hopefuly it works

isn't the fastest shutter speed on a d70 something like 1/8000th of a second?
