also having a first hand experience with these corals i'd say they're one of the slowest growing corals i have

If you check the date of that post, he bought it on Apr 15th, and his first update pic was on May 31st. I see what you mean about the size, but the propogation into other polyps can be quite fast.

I'll race you my zoos against those Acans. Winner gets to keep the others coral.

haha.. ill race you my brown with orange centers.. ill warn you tho they are supercharged. i get around 25 new polyps a week!

i have a lot of them... well its looking like a farm these days. once they hit something smooth they go hog wild.

What do you do with all those extra polyps WWDD?? Frag them out?? :biggrin: :mrgreen:

The trouble with that statement is that it is incomplete. I grow a fair mumber of zoos, and have found that some species propagate rapidly, while others are very slow. :biggrin:
