I keep both my tanks around 1.025 - 1.026.

I keep mine at 1.0125 everything seems to like it their...Thought I would post this thread so that when new people come to the hobbie they can see what everyone tends to keep their tank at!!!

To maintain proper Ca/alk values (and Mg), close to natural seawater levels should be maintained. This is more important for reefs than FO tanks. Seawater is generally 1.026
