Yeah, I dont see how its possible. I guess I was just hoping...little purple urchins or red stars would be cool. The little baby spot prawns or shrimp would be pretty cool too. No chance of the prawns surviving in anything over 44 degrees for more then a few hours though.

Maybe an oyster?

Can you afford a chiller? I don't blame you for thinking the local stuff is cool, plumous anemone, aggregate polyps/anemone (which ever they are going by these days) etc etc all would make a wonderful display.

That being said, some of our local rock especially from campbell river area has wonderful pink and purple coraline algae on it, I wonder if it would survive at all.
