Edit.. sorry double post
|
Yes, I agree with BlueTang. Give it at least a few hours to see if more tissue starts flaking off. If it does, then frag like there's no tomorrow ('cause there really might not be for that coral).

Pictures in a moment,
I don't remember it looking like this last night though, thats why I'm so worried |
Okay two pictures, sorry I'm no so swift with this computer yet and thus don't know how to resize, my apologies in advance! I played around with iPhoto, and I can't can't figure out how to work it.
<img src="http://www.karmathief.com/animalia/bluetip_acro_RTN_Feb%207_05.JPG" WIDTH=300 HEIGHT=200 ALT="Blue Tip Bali Acropora with RTN"> and <img src="http://www.karmathief.com/animalia/bluetip_acro_rtn_Feb7_05_closeup.JPG WIDTH=300 HEIGHT=200 ALT="Blue Tip Bali Acropora with RTN (Close-up)"> Alright I can't figure out why it won't show, so help? |
|
I resized them for you as they were HUGE!!
|
I know, I miss photoshop, its this new iMac, I still haven't gotten the hang of resizing pictures or anything. Its brutal.
So Muck, do you think its RTN? |
The acro is probably one 1.5-2" high, so I guess I will be heading out for some tools later today.
It doesn't look like there has been any additional tissue loss since I first spotted this lovely Monday morning disaster. I'm going to give it until around 1pm then make a decision from there. Any other opinions now that the images (properly size thanks to Muck) are up? |
Unfortunatly it does look like RTN
However, hold out and monitor it for a while. any more recesion, I'd say buck it a part.. |
I think I'm just going to bite the bullet and frag it ASAP before I have to go to work.
So once I frag it, snip it all apart what do I do with the good parts? Do I just glue them all down to rocks or what? |
