Wow i think the reason for the fake corals is the amount of light needed you would need to runn 1000 watt MH for SPS and 400 watt halides for LPS and Softies. Nice tank though. Wish i had one.

If you can afford to build a tank that big, I don't think the monthly power bill would be too significant a problem.. :mrgreen: :cool:

your right much the stocking cost would be through the roof thpugh LR alone would kill ya let alone fish you could buy your coral like most of us here do as frags from each other but man $$$

I think that will end up being a fish only tank. It does posses the possibility for a huge aquaculturing project if he ever wants to through 1000 lbs og live rock in there. :mrgreen:
