I do the same thing! Leave the moon lights on 24/7 to avoid using another timer.

The shimmering light realy is nice to look at also.

I tried using a blue LED for a moon glow effect but the batteries wore out! :cool: If you like, try putting it on one side of the tank and angle it downward across to the other side, kind of like a moonset.
