The duration it takes for the coral to die is pretty quick. I'm fairly new to the hobby. Can someone explain to me what RTN is and if there's anything I can do to help.

It's not RTN. RTN is obvious when it happens. The tissue almost floats away from the skeleton very quickly. You can lose a whole colony in hours or less!!
Jelly is something I would use as a search parameter in Eric Borneman's forum at RC.

Eric Borneman is probably the best resource for determining what type of "affliction" the acros have. And how to treat it. I always post to his forum for things like this.

yifan917 got many nice sps that I saw. He maintained excellent water quality.

It may be something to do with your water quality.
