Yes, Rikko, but you needed the 75 lbs of live rock to help keep your tank healthy. Do you REEEAAALLLYYY NEEED to sell your house to buy a $200,000 Arrowana
I spend more than I want to think about on this addiction, (& more than I'll ever let wifey know about), but I think most of us still try to get a good deal for our money. Just thought I'd rather own 1/2 a house than 1 "so-to-commit-suicide-cause-that's-what-I-do" fish like a $200 G Arrowana. |
Eel
I know the guy who just bought the Dragon Eel. I'm not saying I would ever buy something like that, nor could I afford it but I will tell you I can't wait to go over there and see it.

I have seen 2 or 3 Gem Tangs (Z. gemmatum) go for around $2500 US in the last year or so. But, you can get them in Europe for around half that - you'd think you could FedEx it for a bit less than the difference.
Personally, I am very happy with my $29 yellow tang. |

I dunno, something as special as a Dragon, I could see doing an entire set-up /"star"-tank for a fish like that. Seriously, dog-lovers out there drop $3500-4000+ for a pure bred English Bulldog & don't think twice about it. Is a Dragon any less spectacular? Sure as heck alot prettier than a Bulldog, good luck petting it though  ! In the proper set-up I bet it would be friggin' stunning.
