Just want to clarify this as I've heard otherwise ... so no sediment with the mag chloride? Do you mix it with grocery store epsom salts?

Unfortunately I don't use the MgCl from Shlobster (I prefer Kent Tech M). The calcium chloride does have a little sediment but since I mix it in a different container than the dosing container, I just pour out the clear stuff.

Anyone else experience this?

I mix the two and it mixes clear everytime.
My Schlobster CA was always leaving heavy sediment, so for some reason I started mixing with hot water and no more sediment issues.

Thanks for the tips! Mind as well pre heat all the ro mix water to make sure it fully dissolves. It was a good day. My gallon portions of dry mix showed up in the mail and shortly after my doser came! Now I just need the new tank!

You boil your RO water?

No, I don't boil. I just heat up a 1/4 gal in the microwave, mix with another 3/4 gal that is room temp. It heats the water enough that it dissolves the Ca better. I guess you could boil....

Just used it for the first time, after using c balance for a year.
Seems great so far, and cheaper of course.

...and forgot to mention, we add magnesium to our top off water, but are considering adding another dosing pump

Top off water is a not bad way to do it. In general so you guys dose mag daily along with the other 2? Bulkreef supply's video showed them just adding it once you use the gallon of calcium/alk up which didn't make much sense to me. Seems to much of a hit on the system at once
