Pressure

So does it matter that it will only run at 30psi???

duncangweller 12-28-2014 04:21 AM

It's not brilliant.

First of all it takes forever to make a bucket of water. Secondly, you'll go through filters quicker and thirdly I think you waste away your membrane quicker.

From what I've read I believe you want to be around 45-60 psi for optimum water:waste ratio.

Wow

Man I should have just stuck with the store water. Now I've got to spend another $100 for a booster pump. Good thing I kept the receipt so back the damn thing goes.

canadianbudz604 12-28-2014 05:48 AM

Hmmm

Is there a restrictor of some sort that I'm missing?

Aquattro 12-28-2014 05:51 AM

Nope. If the gauge says 30psi, that's all you have going to the unit.

Plumbing

I'm using the faucet adaptor. If I plumbed it under the sink would it change anything?

hillegom 12-28-2014 05:59 AM

you'll need a booster pump and a high pressure shut off. in other words , a pressure switch

input80 12-28-2014 06:01 AM

Return it if you can Jesse.

canadianbudz604 12-28-2014 06:06 AM
