Any Linux users? What's going on in that camp?

I'm actually still using an ancient notebook running XP, tempting fate. Every time I turn it on I get the "End of support" pop up nagging me. Nevertheless, the world hasn't ended & I'm able to do most of what I need to do. Although I have several bits of hardware that use touch screen technology, I'm not enthused about upgrading to a 'tablet' type of computer with no keyboard. I spent some serious time in high school way back when to learn typing. My buddy & I were the only two males in a classroom full of young ladies!

Use Chrome as browser now, but also still have IE installed since it downloads my finance data from the bank directly into Quicken. When I do the same with Chrome, the qfx file gets downloaded to my hard drive & I have to go through the process of importing it into Quicken. That's a royal pain compared to the IE download. When I log in to my TNG bank account with IE, it reminds me that I'm using an outdated browser & I should update for a 'better' experience with 'all' the features, whatever that means. It still allows me to download data, transfer money & do everything I need to do. So in my experience, new is not necessarily always better.

My company decided that we were all moving to Redhat 6, with some customizations, and my entire team went back to Windows within 3 months. Just horrid to use in a work environment, and we're all techs. I think for home users, it would be a nightmare.

And anyone that doesn't like Microsoft should work with Lotus Notes for a month. Whole new perspective on stoopid software. :)
