Hmmm the frag I got was pretty healthy I'm pretty sure polyps were out, I actually tried twice once long time ago and one more recently both times they sort of just started losing flesh, not bleach or anything but the flesh just started disappearing until the whole thing was dead. :( got other sps frags the same time too and those ones are still flourishing.

Hmm maybe ill try again hopefully it was just bad luck sounds like its not a pretty tough coral to keep. Thanks all

Were the frags well encrusted? I do find that Mille frags are a bit prone to RTN or STN when moved to a different tank if they aren't well encrusted.

one of my favorite corals, I found them very easy to keep, a lot easier than other types of acro. mind you I never had any corls RTN or what ever so maybe I was just lucky.

Easy coral with stable water, but usually the first to go RTN when something is off. Also the most likely to random RTN events. But I stress, it's fairly simple to keep them happy. Grows fast, colors easy and eats like a champ.

Albert. What does it eat? I'd love to feed it some :)

But agreed with everything Albert said. However some millies grow slightly slower then others, but shouldn't be hard to keep if your cal and alk levels are somewhat in range.

light. all mine every got was lots and lots of light, well maybe got some byproducts when I feed the fish, but I over skimmed like crazy. I ran my Ca at 380 my alk at 11 dkh.

here was my big one when I moved, it was a tri color but it was realy upset from being moved and went brown, took a good 3 weeks to color up again.

this is a bad picture of it when it was a lot smaller in the tank. hard to see the different colors but it was blue, purple and green. don't mind the hair algae I was battling at the time.....
