What vulgarity did Canreef censor? I think those ***** are just the OP not wanting to mention the name of the company. Unless I missed something else.

Google search "resignation template"

Here's one result http://jobsearch.about.com/od/resign...gnationlet.htm

Best of luck. BTW, that's solid advice from Reef_Pilot

Its the company name, i *****'d it out lol

As far as them firing me it has nothing to do with anything i did or they did, its just what they have a reputation of doing. The main reason i ask is that I know they dont want me to leave and i am going to a competing company when i leave. I have every intention of giving 2 weeks notice tho, my concern is them finding a way out of paying severance if they tell me i dont need to stay the 2 weeks

If you are worried about being let go on the spot without pay, you should first research to make sure you know your rights as per your provincial labour regulations.

Here's BC's
https://www.labour.gov.bc.ca/esb/fac...ermination.pdf

Note, however, if you quit, you are not entitled to any additional compensation. Example, "I quit, right now, today." So be clear that you are not quitting as of March 17th, but that you are giving your 2 weeks' notice to resign effective March 31 (or March 28, if that's your intention) as your last date of employment. And date the letter under your signature as March 17.

So if they choose to terminate you ahead of your resignation, they will have to follow the provincial labour regulations (notice period, or corresponding compensation as per your tenure there).
