Sometimes it's 11. But mostly 10. There has been one time it was at 8 in the beginning stages.

Absolutely nothing.. The only thing we've done in the last week is swap out for a bigger skimmer.

It's almost as if there is something in our tank, that is going undetected.. Which for me is hard to believe, because we test EVERYTHING every day or 2

Check for smelly water coming out of your RO/DI (assuming you use one). Kien recently had this issue.

We don't use RO/DI. We are from Calgary, & according to everyone we've talked to, our water conditions are next to perfect for a reef tank. We've never had an issue until now.

i would change your carbon out. as it could be chemical warfare.

Id think twice about that. If you arnt using RODI that could very well be your problem. Perhaps the water has been ok for the most part and maybe just recently ppms spiked? Would be a good idea to test the ppm of your water.

Did you do any water change with tap water recently? Lethbridge is undergoing warning on tap water and I also started noticing strong smell of chlorine for the last 2 days at my place (in Calgary).
