Also they come in single track most hardware stores carry them http://www.kncrowder.com/slidingdoor/c104-994.php and the will easily support well over 150lbs, lots of the doors I have hung can hit 200 lbs easy for a solid wood 8' door

if you have a windsor plywood out in your area the bypass door track is a double run and uses 4 wheels per roller.i've installed these in some apartments with 7'+ doors at about 40-50 lbs a door(4 doors on a track)also the by pass hardwear is a lot beefier than a normal track where the doors butt into each other

I'd like to have one single or double 10' track that each pendant can slide either direction and can support up to 150 lbs. These would accommodate that then?

Any idea of the approximate cost? Thanks for your help too.

We are also installing 8' solid core doors that are pocket/ barn door style. We use heavy aluminum tracks that come with heavy duty trucks from Hafele. Great product to work with.

So I went to Windsor Plywood this morning and ordered up a 10' bypass door double track assembly for only $130 so I'm happy with that. Capable for up to 200 lbs. They said they also use it for barn doors too. Thanks for your help everyone. Much appreciated.

you might want to mount a 1x4 or a strip of 3/4 plywood to your ceiling first, then mount the track.it will be stronger in the long run

I'm going to have to figure out a way to square up the part of the roof I'm mounting the track to. The roof slopes downwards perpendicular to the tank and tracks.
