Depending on the final price (incl shipping, etc), I might want to upgrade my Gen 1's to the Gen 3 Pros. But how long will that take? Can this be done locally by a qualified technician?

My tank can't last very long without a light. I don't have any spare old lights to use in the meantime.

As above we dont know the final details yet, but if return to Ecotech is required thats a balanced choice each person will need to make. Remember the upgrade is a personal choice not a requirement, so you would have to make your own decisions what is best for you.

But as yet nothing is set in stone.

Any news on ths. I tried to do on ecotech site but it is for United States only. I am willing to ship to them and pay whatever :D

Spoke to Ecotech just now.

Pricing tomorrow for G2 - G3 these will be sold direct through distribution apparently. This is to keep the price down for everyone, something we did for GHL and worked.

The G2 upgrades will be user fit.

G1 clients, sorry this is work in progress as the G1 requires so many variant in parts. We are not sure how this is going to work out at the moment.
