I picked up a Laguna. See how it does. Though I did like the feed mode on Dc pump

These pumps simply are not reliable. It's too bad because they put out some nice flow for 80ish watts. I still am not sure what to replace mine with.

I have been running 4 of these water blisters for over a year now, haven't had a issue with any, come to think of it it's been a year I should clean them

Agreed I hate them with a passion but once you go DC I find it's hard to go back. I picked up the new 12000 in hopes the improvements continue past the power supply and controller.

From my understanding the waveline, speedwave and diablo are all from the same manufacture

What is the 12000? Is that waveline? My issue is the impeller seizing and it doesn't appear to be precipitation on the bearings. I always have to manually turn the shaft in my hand a few times to loosen it. I do soak in vinegar for a few min too but I'm always in a hurry to get my system back online.

My waveline has been solid. Year and a half, no problems.

Jakegr 12-01-2013 01:17 AM

My Waveline has also been problem free for over a year.
