Yabbut, Fluval Sea mixes so nicely, doesn't cloud and can be added immediately to my tanks without having to wait overnight. And yes, I don't age my water. I know, I should be ashamed.

Maybe 'Kien' leaves a salty residue because that could be the thing standing between coming in a close second and clinching top spot?

I am completely unfamiliar with Fluval Sea so can't comment on it. I just know that a lot of people use IO with great success.

I use the Zeo coral snow. Used to use Julian Spring but found it didn't do as much to help clarify.

To answer the invisible poll question, I like to use a bit of Kien dissolved in RODI water for my water changes. Haven't tested it myself but been told by several reliable sources that Kien has high trace mineral content, (higher than IO at least).

Your restraint is noted and admired.

Coral snow and marine snow are completely two different things.

Didn't you hear the whining in my voice like a petulant child?!? I should have added emoticons. I'm sure IO is a good product but I want it my way and I don't want to change. I am the horseshoe crab of the aquarium.
