I would do a snail tank .....10000 snails lol

Lots of snails. lol Still have to add lots of live rock but its a 2 hour drive to get it. There is about 200lbs in there now with 40 pounds more in the sump.

Why so much rock?

If its not dry rock and good quality live rock you can prob sell 75 lbs of what you have now unless your going after a certain look , as for filtration your good long ago.

Goal is to cover mid way up to the back of the tank so you don't see as many wires. Wishing i had painted the back.

An idea if you like is to place a piece of black 1/8 acrylic you only need 1/8" clearance to slide it in , wouldn't have to be professional just functional , nothing wrong with lots of rock don't get me wrong but your not stuck .

With more rock you'll have less room to scape and less room for fish , keep in mind 99% of people don't max out their biological filtration a little rock goes a long way .

Throw filtration out of the equation and choose the look you want after all your looking to create a mini reef something natural , alot will have to go with your dimensions and overflow placement

Either way have fun and think 3d when scaping , canyons/caves/shelves/overhangs etc

Cheers
