Two things that can help zoanthids and palythoas are dosing with vitamine C and adding Strontium if it is low. Mine is always low so I dose it each week. It is best to test for strontium before adding it though. I noticed when I was adding strontium my zoanthids were going downhill and I was adding strontium they would come back strong.

I do dose strontium, I try to keep it at 10, pain in the butt test though, my other palys and zoos do very well, cinnamon palys started opening back up today, I think the kenya tree stung them.

Palys

Palys/zoas are very strange, sometimes they will just melt away for no reason.

Keep the zoa's detritus free they can collect a ton.

I swear by reef fuel by aquavitro - the stuff is amazing and works - just use 1/2 the recommended dose - and insure aeration

My sps,zoa and lps all increased growth and colours
