Very interesting and impressive pics... I have actually been looking for a camera that I can use to shoot SPS underwater. The latest model is the TG-2, and looks very similar to yours. The following review says it can focus at 1 cm from the subject. That sounds pretty good to me,... for a cheap camera!!

To the OP: I can't believe how good your pics are compared to mine, with basically the same camera. These were through the front glass, not underwater.

I assume you took yours underwater? And how far were you from the subject?

Have you tried taking any pics through the glass? And how did those turn out?

Hi if you asking me Im took them underwater but I took some tru the glass and they were ok. Some pictures close and some other not, the camera zoom by itself but you can get really close almost touching the coral and you get some amazing results.
When you select macro it has 3 or 4 different setting I choose supermacro and turn the flash off and I find that the best set up to take pictures of corals.
I have a sony dslr camera with a 100mm macro lens and trust me this Olympus camera is so easy to operate compare to the sony with the macro.
Try taking pictures inside the water is so much fun and better results.
