Not sure where Cobble Hill is but you might have looked for someone to babysit your fish. You need to buy more devices to increase circulation if you don't have enough.

Our avatars are relatively similar compared to most others on this board, they both depict a sagittal view of a head in black and white.

Oh jeez, Rachel I feel terrible  I'm so sorry I couldn't be of help. If its any consolation your corals probably wouldn't have done any better in my tank as I'm going through round 3 with the dinos and am losing stuff as well

Christy

BTW, Quinn, she did look for people to babysit both her corals and fish. I was supposed to take the corals but got called out of town. Difficult to babysit a large fish though. If I hadn't already had a tang and lawnmower I would have done it.

Pity.

Any chance this is an island water thing after all the problems over there?

sea gnome 07-01-2004 07:03 PM

I know the the water or salt is the problem, I was buying ro water and had ground water specialist from the island over to our place 18 months ago to put in a ro unit. She had the water from the well tested and told us she would put one in but she thought it was a waste of $$ since the water was "phenomenal" I opted to not go with it, and now i wonder if some contaiment got into it??? I am now setting up for her to put in a ro unit under the sink. I am devastated by the loses. Christy, do you want to try my tuxedo urchin on your algea, he was still alive this morning? I can run it up tommorow?
