....another small update.......got a new fishy from Carmen........a beaut of a leopard wrasse.....gave me a little scare when I first introduced him.......he spent all of about 5 minutes in the tank before he decided to bail and bury himself in the sand.......I didnt see it for a couple days and started to worry......even tho I know that leopards have a tendency to hide when first introduced.....still worrisome when you dont see a new fish for a while.....anyway after a couple days he decided to show himself and Im amazed that he seemed to fit right in and didnt get harassed at all by my crew of "hazers" .....by far one of the smoothest fish intros Ive seen in a while......thanks for the wrasse Carmen.....*I was gonna type something else there, but I thought better of it:wink:*

Moar pics.....

I decided to move this one into the big tank to see how it responds to a little more flow.....that, and I needed to make room for a new acquisition in the small tank:mrgreen:.......I thought I would name this coral just for Pat......Red Coral's "Walt Smith""Cherry Sundae Chalice"......

Hummmmm........ I wonder what my new larger one will walk off with  They are very cool looking though. I gave him a pep talk when I added him and told him he can walk off with all the empty shells/LR rubble he wants but leave the corals alone, do ya think he'll listen  I'm guessing not!

actually hunny....that is the same exact urchin that I gave you.......so, given his track record.....you better glue everything down:wink:.....

well it was my birfday on Saturday and in light of this I took a couple things home from the shop......

Aussie acan frag....

http://i116.photobucket.com/albums/o...2/IMGP5585.jpg
http://i116.photobucket.com/albums/o...2/IMGP5588.jpg
http://i116.photobucket.com/albums/o...2/IMGP5627.jpg

I have always wanted one of these but Kevin has never brought any in and I just couldnt swallow the $300 price tag(competitors pricing).......Kevin finally brought some in and I bit the bullet............

Aussie scolly

http://i116.photobucket.com/albums/o...2/IMGP5549.jpg

I was so stoked to finally have one..............................then Murphy"s law kicked in.......................three days after I added the scolly, my frogspawn fell from where it had sat for months without falling(was wedged between a couple rocks), right on top of the scolly.................I noticed it one morning and was like "Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!" :bad-word:............. frogspawn 1.......scolly 0.................. so I gave the frogspawn to Laurie.....no freakin way was a $40 frogspawn ever gonna fall on the most expensive coral I have ever added to the tank, again................ heres what it looks like after the damage......its not a complete write off and it looks like the remaining tissue will likely heal.............but still!!!!!

http://i116.photobucket.com/albums/o...2/IMGP5628.jpg

Laurie was down for the weekend and picked this Aussie acan up for me

http://i116.photobucket.com/albums/o...2/IMGP5636.jpg

that and she dropped a bomb on me.......it turns out that she has been conspiring behind my back and has had a tank built for me:surprise:........I love this girl so much and now she's had my dream tank(well, dream tank as long as I am renting and still need to be able to move the tank) built for me........thanks so much baby......you rock!......more details when it actually holds water..............by the sounds of things I will be able to pick up the tank in a couple weeks:biggrin:.......I probably wont be able to set it up for a while as I will need to gather some parts for it and there is a very real possibility that my living arrangements will be changing soon......sounds like Ive got Laurie convinced to move down to Calgary:biggrin:......so there is no point really in setting it up until I know for sure what is going on .......anyway, it will be a big upgrade for me and I feel super blessed to have a Girly as wonderful as Laurie
