Yes. It's overkill. But one is underkill. So, lesser of two evils :)

Further, I used to run 2 x 400w on my 75g, which was 18x48 foot print. Worked out well. This is overall a bigger area, so should be fine. I have a big chiller :)

Once I'm satisfied, I'll trim them flush.
