Found some donuts (secret stash).....working on pictures of copious quantities of charred meat. To be continued. Alcohol and scantily clad women - gladly being worked on - barring arrest and harassment proceedings.

If you think that food spread is impressive, check out this bad boy

The Score on Davie's Checkmate Caesar

Sure to induce an embolism in some of us!! And all atop a Caesar drink.

Plus they have other crazy foods, just look down the page.

Oops, almost forgot a pic

I hope that's an actual Egg McMuffin and Hashbrowns you're referring to and not "code" or euphemism for other....things. D'oh!

Member "gregzz4" - I bow to you. Nice pics and links. Namaste.

I'm currently working on this:

http://time.com/3938579/deep-fried-mcdonalds-big-mac/

I was inspired. Pictures to follow eventually......

Taipan 07-05-2015 04:12 AM

It's Entirely Possible and Actually Tasty.....

Japanese Culinary Masters are rolling in their graves and weeping at this very moment. I humbly submit to you: Deep Fried Panko Battered Big Macs and McDoubles.

My family knew I was already off the deep end with reefing. Now to start up the fryer and head to McDonald's in the middle of the night for a culinary experiment......yeah it's sad. I did learn that you can request for a "side order" of Mac sauce; and it apparently comes in an Espresso cup.

Enclosed are pics of the "before" and the after". I used "Omega 3" eggs because I might as well be healthy during this little experiment.

Aquattro/Brad......How is the website traffic now? lol

And was it yunmy?? :D

Taipan 07-05-2015 04:21 AM

So tasty......Very Tasty. Advice: Make sure oil is new (fresh).

Myka 07-05-2015 05:20 AM

How to make a Big Mac even better...I didn't actually think that was possible.

Taipan 07-05-2015 06:07 AM

Deep Fried anything is usually better (I didn't say healthier). ;) Not a huge fan of Deep Fried Mars Bars. Deep Fried Ice Cream - tasty.

Aquattro 07-05-2015 06:08 AM

Cool enough out tonight for a run finally!

Myka 07-05-2015 06:29 AM

My fav is the good ole deep fried mushroom. Yum!

Too smokey here! It`s gross out from the wildfires.

Aquattro 07-05-2015 06:32 AM

Was actually a bit cool, but I'll take it!

hunggi74 07-05-2015 06:59 AM

I went for a 10k run at around 8pm. Much better than trying to jog in the sweltering heat. Took a lot longer than expected. I'm blaming that on all the scantily clad distractions of summer...

lastlight 07-05-2015 07:33 AM

my kids are finally at the point where they keep up or out-pace me slightly on their bikes. today was awesome. i'll hopefully be getting more runs in myself. i bribe them with a small slurpee. they pedalled almost 9km today.

that big mac looks heavenly tho i gotta say.

Dearth 07-05-2015 06:11 PM

Apparently heavy smoke has blanketed a good portion of the lower mainland from forest fires and social media has come alive as has the 911 service. Apparently forest fire smoke is not a common thing down there which unfortunately with all the comments on social media this morning made me burst out laughingstock some of the absurdity being posted by some of these people.

gregzz4 07-06-2015 12:08 AM

That deep-fried Bigmac looks awesome
Last night I barbecued a pizza for the first time
Delissio, add tomatoes feta cheese meat cooked shrimp cracked pepper and shredded for cheese blend

Taipan 07-06-2015 12:11 AM

It's the Panko batter that makes it "light" and crispy if that makes any sense. Believe it or not; the Deep Fried McDouble tasted better. Both were good but the McDouble was tastier.

BBQ'd pizza....something else for me to aim for......

gregzz4 07-06-2015 12:40 AM

Some frozen pizzas actually have BBQ instructions on the box. This one did not and I couldn't regulate the heat low enough with the lid closed, so it took probably 2-3 times longer than it should have - wasn't watching the clock. It turned out great with a nice, crisp crust - not wreck-your-mouth burnt.
Just rotate it 1/4-1/2 turns regularly and wait 'till it starts to bubble.
It was awesome

OK I'm back!! Did I miss anything exciting ??

Aquattro 07-06-2015 05:59 PM

Nope. Nothing happening. Hey, got any directions for connecting water to my fridge?

Step 1. Throw away the water line.
Step 2. Do not attempt to connect water to the fridge.
Step 3. repeat step 2.

Hope that helps!

Did either of you guys install a pot filler over your range? It's something I want to do and is all the rage lately.

Just install float valves on all your pots. Easy.

Coralgurl 08-09-2015 05:53 AM

I just made the mistake of adding up the retail prices of all my equipment.....ouch!! Everything for my build was bought new, except my return pump. Should not have done that:twised:

I'll know in a few months, I estimate it maybe adds $50, but my set up was pretty simple compared to others. We've had a tank going since we moved into this house -8 years.

Are you using everything? I only added up the equipment that was running, not everything else I have too. My costs are no where near yours though.
