that's a pretty neat idea it really opens up possibilities for tank placement. Does it have an overflow and sump too?

5.5" front to back huh? Fascinating! So did you decide that 5.5" was the absolute minimum depth that your tank should be?

That's so cool!

The tank doesn't have a sump, I'm running a canister filter underneath it in kitchen cupboard. I made a small overflow for it where I have the pump suction. It needs manual adjustment every few days to ensure the water from the surface is being sucked down. It seems to be working out ok.

If you go to www.walltanks.com you can see what I bought. I was a little off on the dimensions, it is 16" high and 6" wide.

HOLY CRAP! There's a whole industry around 6" wide wall tanks ! I wonder if that industry has deemed 6" to be the standard minimum.

Thanks for organizing it! Maybe try to do one each season, so Spring is up next? :-)

Well, I suppose anyone can organize a meet anytime they want. It just seems that for Calgary reef meets, they don't come around very often :-) I suppose that could all change though!

I vote for BBQ behind concept store. IF we can gather enough ppl, we can have a food truck there to serve us :-)

Maybe i am too ambitious but just throw idea out there.
