I'm not cutting any corners on this tank so it may take some time before it's ready to go.

1. Finish electrical cabinet - I want the entire tank to run off a controller - I haven't decided what controller yet, which ever one it is it has to be economical as I have a lot of things to plug into it. Maybe the RKE or the new Neptune looks pretty promising.

2. I have to plumb this thing - Drains / Returns / Manifold / 2 Closed Loops and to bad for me I prefer the look of grey SCD 80 PCV over the white SCD 40

3. I have to build a light rack - 3 ea 400w HQI / 4ea 48" T5 / 4ea 36" T5

4. I have to build the canopy - I have two extra doors that match the rest of the doors and I have extra riser and crown to match the rest of the cabinetry but I have to build the shell. I want the shell to be removable separately from the light rack.

It will be a race between Tony, Lastlight and myself to see who gets done first.....

Not much else I can show at this point.. but his will be the basic layout under the tank.

Electrical cabinet - everything will be controlled from here.

I'll be adding a shelf for the equipment to sit on so it isn't on the floor:

All the pumps will be located behind this door, it will make it easy to maintain them or swap one out.

The tank is still raised up from the install so pay no attention to the wood blocking it's sitting on. It will be removed.

Robb, that is one sweet setup. Neat & tidy with lots of room for equipment. Well done. Can't wait to see this build up & running.

Well, I started to plumb this thing last night. This is going to be a chore!

My wife sat down beside me as I was plumbing and asked how it all works, I watched her eyes glaze over about 10 seconds into the conversation!

Love how the whole bookcase setup looks. My eyes would glaze over too....thats alotta plumbing:lol: I think its a good thing when they show a little interest. My g/f knows how to tweak the skimmer if its overflowing and can tell when something isnt sounding right.... which gives me a little piece of mind when Im at work.
