Lol, it wasn't that bad. Person was useless and simply used the office as a base to do all her personal stuff rather than her job!

New role not official until Jan 1, but started transitioning!

Wow, I can't believe all the black Friday sales going on.

I really should check to see if my LFS has sales going on. I can just picture it now. 25% off on entire inventory of livestock...
No way, too good to be true. 25% off Kenya tree, 25% off frogspawn, 25% off mushrooms and 25% of blue green chromis. At that price I can buy one of each from the entire list of inventory. Oh, I hope I'm not to late. I'd hate to show up after all the good stuff was gone and only be able to get frogspawn, mushroom, Kenya tree, or blue green chromis. A deal like that would bring blue green chromis price slightly lower then powder blue tang online. Almost makes the little guy affordable.

Nope. Just called. Nothing on sale : (

I was going to say something as well but I'm already on his "list" but I agree with you

kien 12-11-2014 03:10 AM

It is kind of sad and unfortunate that they stopped sponsoring as I found them to be a great source of ponding supplies. :-(

jorjef 12-11-2014 03:21 AM

Nothing against Pets and Ponds, I used them a lot in my freshwater days. Mikey on the other hand.

Ram3500 12-11-2014 04:50 AM

My wife almost cut her finger off today with a mixmaster

Ouch. Beware motorized appliances & power tools! Belt sander almost removed the tip of my right pinkie early September. It only takes a fraction of a second of inattention. Hope she's ok & didn't have to wait too long in emergency to get fixed up.

Going off on a little rant, but I found it hard to believe what some folks that arrived before me in emergency actually considered an 'emergency'. Pinky hanging on by a piece of flesh, throbbing, bleeding & I had to wait while a lady who's scalp hurt & a guy looking to get a Dr.'s note to get off work for a leg that had already been x-rayed a week prior were looked after.

Ram3500 12-12-2014 04:53 AM

She was in a lot of pain . Luckily she had great treatment at a local clinic . She was in and out with in a hour . Eight stitches and the cut was to the bone the doctor said. The doctor even wrote her a note saying no dish washing or wrapping presents for three weeks . Oh jeez it's gonna be a few tough weeks .

gregzz4 12-12-2014 05:04 AM

Sounds pretty serious

Good thing she's got a dishwasher (you) and a personal shopper, and a present wrapper, and a etc etc

gregzz4 12-12-2014 05:05 AM

By the way, remind me not to eat whatever your wife's serving next time I'm around. Wouldn't want to eat something human

I still have my nano going. Thinking about upgrading when I get home from the grand caymans. Diving here is amazing.

Any posts previously in the buy/sell forums were removed from people's post count.

Flash 12-30-2014 04:22 PM

well that would make a lot of sense! So how do we draw people back to the board seeing as they are all on fb now! lol

Really? I haven't noticed until now. That's kinda sad. I don't think it was like that 3 years ago was it?

Ya, been that way for years. One of the reasons I had considered removing that forum :)

Dearth 01-04-2015 10:10 PM

Wish the weather would make up its mind went from -22 this morning to -4 at noon to -12 and snowing it's like mother nature is having a fit...

mike31154 01-04-2015 10:30 PM

Yeah baby, I'm going to be up to my armpits in pow pow on the ski hill bright & early tomorrow!

brotherd 01-04-2015 10:35 PM

I'm forever amazed at how fast things can go bad and how excruciatingly long it takes to turn things around.

WarDog 01-04-2015 11:04 PM

Why is nothing made to fit the rim of a standard aquarium? GRRRRRR!

Box cutter can fix that

Dearth 01-05-2015 04:02 PM

So my company has been interviewing people for jobs for all positions and a lot of the interviewee's have been laid off gas and oil workers and many of them have either declined the job or actually walked out on the interview when they found out that starting wage is $27 an hr most said they will not work for less than $50 an hr

Typical of spoiled people who are used to living on $200k a year suddenly finding out that they will be living on a normal wage they can't handle it

It's sad really
