I had a huge response to the Christmas sale so due to the heavier volume many of the frags never had a chance to get encrusted onto the plug. For what it's worth a frag coming off the plug that way would not void my warranty.

well I took the plunge and bought 2 MP40 W vortech's one will be here tomorrow and the other in about 5 days after. why the spread in getting them. Well first i sold my tunze's and some other gear to get one. then i ended up selling alot of frags and soft corals that i had to buy te other. so what the heck..... pictures to follow.
and that was a quick $1000 spent on my tank...

Yeah, but those MP40W's are gonna rock your corals! And the battery back up is good for peace of mind. Do you get a lot of power outages there?

Skimmerking 03-06-2009 01:52 AM

You are going to LOVE the vortechs! I'm glad you picked them up.

The battery backup you need to buy seperate.. its like $250ish if I recall correctly. I have been meaning to buy one but have not yet.
