Wow Lando, big change since I was there last. Looks awesome!!! You have my vote as well. I see you got the basement finished. Nice job.

Joe Reefer 01-21-2008 06:41 PM

Thanks Greg, I don't think its TOTM worthy yet maybe someday though. The basement is 97.5% finished but it will probably take me a year to finish that 2.5%.

I'll take that bet.

Only because that part of the reno is actually a 100% finished.

Looks great, but I think someone is missing from your last photo. Where is your horse-like dog, he is the second best part about going to your place.

Do you dose anything?

Joe Reefer 01-22-2008 02:20 PM

No dosing per say. I run a calcium reactor and sometimes dose magnesium when required. I feed the tank oyster eggs once a week and the fish daily.

The moose-like dog (we changed his classification cause he grew more ) was sleeping upstairs when the pictures were taken.

Very Nice

Loved watching your system take shape. Looks awesome. I was told you couldnt have Triggers in with corals. So my question is this. Have the Triggers taken out any corals since the last update? Thanks:biggrin:

Joe Reefer 01-29-2008 07:36 PM

No problem with the triggers so far. I have also had niger trigger in this tank will no ill effects on the coral. It was however very hard on my stomatella snails. The blue throats don't seem to bother anything.
