Awesome :D :D

BTW what's the yellow thingy on the left?

sphelps 11-20-2012 02:55 AM

Yellow Fiji leather, fully open during most of the day but I can only take pics at night so it's usually closing up by then.

mrhasan 11-20-2012 02:58 AM

Oh! But why at night?

Reflection on the glass from the window next to the tank that doesn't have shades yet.

Looking great Steve! Your new system is coming along very nicely. I'm glad someone finally tried out the GHL Mitras and posted a review as I had been curious regarding their performance.

I'm a big fan of the tile you used in the basement and if I may say, that is one top shelf looking shower! Did you use a mastic to stick the tiles to the ceiling or mortar and some sort of prop to hold them in place while the mortar set?

beautiful setup and I really like those shots

Thanks Stones, the shower was all lined with kerdi first which is best described as a waterproof fleece membrane. It's attached to tile backer with non-modified mortar. The tiles are then stuck to that with a modified mortar, no mastic or prop was used to hold them up. I just watched it for a few minutes before stepping away and I did one tile at a time on the ceiling so I didn't risk bumping it with the next one.
