Hey Chris,
Thanks! I am currently discussing with Martin on the defective replacement radion. The internal clock seems to be defective as it is not syncing with the Ecotech software (program)... At least there is light... but sure is a pain to turn it on and off everyday.

Man, do I have just the worst luck in aug! I'll wait until tomorrow morning and review with Rob from Ecotech before calling Martin on this...

Great News today... I should be getting the replacement light for my replacement light soon. Aqua Digital quickly responded and this time has sent me (by email) of the tracking # for the new lights.

Once received I will change all the Radion lens (the TIR lens kits are sitting on the shelf at the moment)!

Certainly a good start for Sept after a crappy Aug..

I found the PP shortcake is slow to color up but once it starts it it changes fairly quickly.

Hi Greg,

Thank you and thank you for the info on the PP Shortcake!

Wayne the new lenses for the Radions are awesome ! I can't believe how much brighter and way better spread they are now. The swap is easy and the enclosed instructions are very clear.
We did have a chuckle, as part of the install is to add two clips to hold the wire harness away from the LEDS.. Something that obviously should have been done during manufacture:wink:

Shelley, thank you for sharing and glad to hear that the new lens are making a difference! I hope to have mine changed over once the replacement light arrives. don't forget to reduce the intensity so that your corals get used to the new lens. If possible share some pics to show the difference...

Recieved the replacement radion for the original replacement radion this evening.unlike the first time, the package arrived in a reasonable time. I have set the new light along with the new TIR lens for all three units. The replacement light seems to be working properly along with the two original lights and the light program seemed to work fine in demo mode. Now to test to see if it can run a full cycle without any problems...

As for the TIR lens, they seemed much brighter, better spread and able to reach the corals near the bottom better. I have toned down the intensity level at this time to 70% and will monitor and increase the intensity level gradually over time.

Test pics with Canon 5D mark iii

Just picked up a Canon 5d mark iii DLSR and took some pics of the tank and corals at time when the Radions were transitioning to night settings. I have to say that I am very impressed with quality with the following pics taken at 3200 iso except for one at 2500... No photoshop required.
