Right. Post count is often looked at by new members as a way to gauge experience of the poster giving advice. So we've removed the post padding posts from the total count. Buy/sell posts as well. Giving it a try. If it's dumb, we can turn it back on and refresh count, returning all the previous numbers. But some people here have a billion posts and nothing important to say, or very little experience. I thought it was a good idea. We'll see :)

I understand the post count = experience. Though I do see people who are still In first year and have more post than more experience numbers. I first used the date joined but now I have been here enough to know who's who and people I trust so to speak. I personally don't care about post count but I'm sure it serves its purpose
