So after several hrs last night I got this massive monster LED on my 165 gal 8'er
Pic with my 4 - 250w MH / 4 - 54w T5 http://i765.photobucket.com/albums/x...d/82bb1383.jpg LED'S http://i765.photobucket.com/albums/x...d/c2fe8176.jpg 4 - 250w MH / 4 - 54w T5 http://i765.photobucket.com/albums/x...d/f48b8425.jpg LED's http://i765.photobucket.com/albums/x...d/e3129415.jpg |
I have the LED's set so the Blue are at 100% from 9am - 9pm, CW / NW HEW set at 50% from 9am - 6pm, CW XPG'S set at 10% to 100% back to 10% from 9 am - 3 pm & Red / Green set at 10% from 11am - 6pm ATM.
I will be playing with them over the next week to get thing just the way I want them but man I am really liking how the colors pop. |
those look way better then the halides awesome work Greg

It looks awesome. I prefer the Led over MH
|
About time! Looks great though
|
Wow what a difference. LED's are very impressive. Much more vivid colors.
|
Looks great! If you have any sensitive corals in there you might want to lower your values a touch. I dropped mine every couple of weeks and things are only getting better (I was bleaching coraline at %80). I'm now down to %50 at peak, seems to be a good balance (light runs alot cooler too). It does look a touch darker, but I'm starting to think that is the tradeoff with LED technology.
