Well once the tank comes in and you need a hand getting it in, i dont mind helping just let me know. you do have alot of holes in there. question, if the old tank you couldnt get it out, how are you going to get the new one in?

Parker 01-14-2009 07:12 PM

I'm not sure I can explain it right.

The counter top comes within less then an 1/8" of the glass and the tank is counter sunk. The trim on the old tank sticks out farther then the gap I have so I can't raise the tank out. The new tank is being built a 1/2 smaller and with no trim.

I would give some thought to your CL intakes being in the floor of the tank.. I made the mistake and was forced to use a pvc fitting to raise the intake strainer up off the floor as to avoid it sucking in sand and fine debris.

Other than that, the tank design looks great. Can't wait to see it!

I have no choice but to put them in the bottom. I'll raise them up and hide them in a pillar.

You will at some point need to clean the strainer fittings. Making it difficult to do so will likely mean it will get done less. Cant wait to see what you do with the aquascaping.

That seemed somewhat unnecessary. Taking out some aggression maybe
