My new addiction: Concept Aquatics...

Do I really need another LFS after this place has opened?

You would have to convince Dave back into bringing livestock other then just coral first.

And to answer the question running through your head right now Levi.........

YES, I am still in the road heading home but only for another 10 min.

Good that you are home with no tickets.... love the loud tunes on the road, especially when tired!

I grabbed some zoas, acans and the yellow octo. All are still grumpy and not open, hopefully fine tomorrow.

Now get some sleep!

Zoaelite 11-23-2012 03:39 AM

All the unopened frags are still closed, the colony was a indo $hit mix looks like nuclears, packers, among a few interesting morphotypes.

Couldn't pass on the Concept price though, hard to believe they are coming out with a discount program on their already low priced pieces!

Coleus 11-26-2012 07:38 PM

freaking frustrated with my tank setup, want to get it up and running but can't seem to find time to get it done. this hobby sucks

Aysha 11-26-2012 07:46 PM

If you love your hobby you find the time.

true i guess, but this hobby is on the back seat now for me, enjoying spending time with my twins more than spending time on tank. Oh well, it always is about priority.

Try to hang on with this hobby rather pulling the plug, nothing else ,move on

cheers

yes seriously Josh. Feel like that is the only way to get this tank up and running

Nano 11-27-2012 02:36 AM

So. My excess nutrient/detritus theory was 110% correct. Lights are off I decided to peek in with a flashlight.. what do I see? The biggest bristle worm I've ever laid eyes on, easily 6"+ long

Put a Maxijet on the bottom of the tank to keep detritus suspended for my skimmer. Hopefully I can starve the bugger cause i doubt I'm Gonna catch him.

Coralgurl 11-29-2012 01:07 AM

Guess washing the car at -12 then driving across the city is not such a great idea. Doors froze shut, took a few minutes to get out...lol. Now that the car is clean, it will snow, I promise!

Well look at the bright side, at least it's better to freeze the doors while in it. A hard shove usually does the trick, but if you're on the outside broken door handles would probably have been more likely.

Noooo ...

We love our Hector
Sorry for your loss

Aysha 11-30-2012 06:18 AM

I had him for 6 months and he was my favorite.

gregzz4 11-30-2012 06:33 AM

Maybe you'll get another
They are great little sand sifters, although I don't much like how ours spreads sand around for the powerheads to disperse

We call our's Hector ... kinda lame huh

RIP Aysha's hector

Aysha 11-30-2012 06:40 AM

MINES NAME WAS HECTOR TOOOO! I'd get another in 2 seconds if I didn't fear for his life.

Wow, and I thought we gave our fish bad names !!!

What a tragic meeting of fishies names ...

I hope you find another to add to your tank, or at least another critter who makes you happy
