Anyone have a dental surgeon in the family that would trade work of work? 2 broken wisdom teeth that really need to get pulled are KILLING me tonight :twised:

reefwars 10-18-2012 05:37 PM

what the hell is wrong with half of you , this is a friendly site so why are people sending others pm telling them not to post or get off the site??

send me that pm and see what happens...at the first sign of anyone being belittled or talked down too and i guarantee i will be at your door .....literally.

if anyone wants to be an ass and tell someone else how they should speak or what questions they should ask or they post too much.....pm me and ill give you specific direction on where you can go and how to get there.

if someone rubs you the wrong way or bothers you do the grown up thing and ignore it(theres an ignore list) or send your concern to one of the mods , its their job to deicde whats right and wrong on a site not yours......

we are not here to drive away good members who want nothing else but to be a part of the family we have here.

this doesnt apply to everyone but def quite a few lately....

seriously guys this is a place for knowlege and aquatics , sure theres going to be misunder standings and arguments but with all the real misunderstandings do we need all the petty differences??

thats my say and i said it..

cheers

The Grizz 10-18-2012 05:44 PM

And I will second that to the letter ^^

Do you really want a ****ed off newfie and a bear at your door, think not :twised:

makes me mad that i got 4 pms this morning about people telling others not to post or ask dumb questions....imo thats belittling/bullying and one of the members i spoke to this morning feels he isnt wanted on the site.

thats cruel and isnt how it is around here...

These PMs should come to one of the staff, and we'll deal with it. Anyone attempting to intimidate other members, regardless of method, will be leaving the board.

lockrookie 10-18-2012 05:57 PM

Sadly no matter if its a forum or a chat room there are always those who feel they are better than others. Even in the common work place thus why I work alone.. If I was you/ them I'd forward Pms to the mods. It easier than fuming about it. Personally there is only two persons on my ignore list for such reasons from when I first became a member and one since then.

i should mention i am not in the middle of this or involved in this, this is my opinion and i think anyone will agree.....that kind of behavior is not tolerated.

brad i did tell the partys in question to contact you about their concerns , i only know about it as i know one of the people personally and speak to them frequently.

i feel what i wrote above applys to everyone....doesnt everyone want to be treated equally in the end anyways??:)

cheers guys.

ps...im not mad but i dont get or tolerate bullying be it in my yard or on my computer:)

If its anyone I know getting bullied that really ****es me off!! And I have a cure for the bullies!! It's not cool if you are like that on a public forum & I dare you to direct your crap my way!!

I have meet some really awesome people here & some I have not seen post for a long time. I don't care if I post 1000 times a day & really no one else should either. I know for a fact when I first started I ask some really stupid questions but if you don't ask you will never know what is right. I had a teacher who had the saying " No question is a stupid question on a banner in there class room and it the only way to learn.

Been battling cluster head aches for most of my life. They've become less as time ages my old bones
But I feel like such a kids when my wife has to call my boss in the morning to let them no I can't make it into work. And better yet most people don't know what cluster headaches are so it almost seems like a lame exude to use. I would call in my self but I Litteraly am half paralyzed like a stroke victim. Thankfully this one only lasted 14 hours not the usual 2 days

Dude that is brutal!! I get massive migraines to do a car accident 5 yrs ago and they are totally debilitating some days and can last for days as well. My aunt gets cluster headaches and the first time it happened we thought she had a stroke. I have to use several ice packs on the back of my head and neck to reduce the pain.

they use to put me on oxygen and shoot antiinflamitories into the base of my skull but the nerologist that did it has since left town. now most hospitals look at me like im jonesing.paramedics once picked me up off the pavement when i fell out of the truck from being parlyzed buy the head ache. when i got in the ER they figured i was lookin for a hit and i stayed in the waitin room for 4 hours before leaving.... since then i have alternitive means of pain relief

That is absolutely brutal!! Doctors/nurses can be such morons when it comes to pain management. Amazingly enough, this is now a specialized practice, if you can see a specialist, I highly recommend it!! I'm sure you've already done everything you can to cope, just sucks to be so mistreated due to lack of understanding. Hope you're feeling better soon!

Holy frick, just got a quote to have the repairs done from someone keying my car, $2500.00 +. And I have to go report it to the police to get a damage sticker as its over $2,000. Grrrrrr

On a positive note, got my snows put on today, love the new rims! Don't think the stock rims are going back on in the spring, have another set in mind.

That really sucks, I never really understood why people get off damaging stuff that others worked hard to get.

If you report it to the police you should have no problem getting the work done through your insurance company. Vandalism shouldn't effect rates if you have a descent company.

If the damage isn't too extensive and is just light surface scratches you could get a color match bottle of paint, mask the area off and use an air brush to paint the scratches. A few very light coats is key. As long as the rest of the paint isn't faded it should blend pretty well, just do a wax job after the paint has fully cured. The body shop will sand, prime, paint and clear coat the area, hence the price. Not a whole lot of real body people out there these days, usually it's easier and cheaper to do panel replacement so restorative works costs a premium. There are other options like trade colleges and high schools that are alway looking for projects but your vehicle could be gone for quite a long time.

The damage is down to the metal, it was a knife not a key and covers 2 panels on the passenger side. I've only had this car since July and while I like the idea of helping students learn, it's not a car I would trust to someone learning. The shop that did the hail repairs scratched the hell out of it, so it's not going back there. Insurance can pay for it, that's what it's for.

I'm still super ****ed that someone did this, hope karma comes back around.

One can only hope. I have a couple of long scratches on my truck. My daughter saw a kid playing with a rock beside my truck but didn't bother to actually go see what he was doing so I had no proof. That was 1 1/2 years ago and I'm still mad about it, probably because I'm 99% sure what happened but can't do anything about it. I know a really good body shop up this direction but unfortunately don't have any recommendations for Calgary.

lol

With a hidey lidey lidey and a hidey lidey lay
We work and we make cigarettes all hidey lidey day
So folks can get a breaky from their stressful lidey lives
And relaxy with the cigarettes we make all day and night
I like to have a cigarette every now and then
It makes me feel calmer when the day is at an end.
And if it gives me cancer when I'm eighty I don't care
Who the hell wants to be ninety anyway?
So with a hidey lidey lidey and a hidey lidey lay
We work and we make cigarettes all hidey lidey day
So folks can get a breaky from their stressful lidey lives
And relaxy with the cigarettes we make all day and night

14 hrs later my 165 gal tank has been moved to the other end of the room and looks like crap. Living room is in a total disaster but its moved and I can start on the granite floor that will be under my 300 gal.
