Thanks John......both for the Id and the comp....

heres one that has finally started to get the purple that its supposed to have( I have a colony of the same coral on the opposite side of the tank that has been in the tank for over a year and has been brown the whole time(in fact I'm thinking about selling it, because its starting to get stung on the bottom by an ever increasing in size nem))

heres another coral that is starting to regain its former glory....this monti was getting shaded out by a pocci that is doing quite well.....

Neat!

fishytime 04-27-2010 03:23 AM

couple things to report......I stopped dosing KZ Eisen conentrate!........the add-on tank is such a mess with algae that Im gonna see if starving the tank of iron helps knock it back a little......

I mentioned a few days ago that I had a colony of sps that a green BTA was starting to get within reach of......lesson learned:neutral: dont be lazy like me.....I thought that just the part of the base of the colony that the nem was touching, would be affected......I was wrong:onfire:......overnight

http://i116.photobucket.com/albums/o...IMG_0017-4.jpg

the RTN of that colony also took out a large portion of a green monti cap that was touching the colony on the back side.....a two-fer......so boys and girls......move it or loose it!

I started preparing to get things organized for the move.......I borrowed the label maker from work and got started on printing off everything to label my electrical lay-out so I wont sit there scratching my head about where to plug everything back in, in the "tank move scramble"......Ive come to a conclusion, we reefers got a lot o crap we need to plug in!.......

Im positive that this is not all of them:biggrin:

No idea Mike.....havnt even started looking yet.......but I hope that I will get lucky and find a place in the same neighborhood.....I'm less than ten minutes away from Red Coral where I am now and would like to keep it that way........never mind the benefit a short distance move would have for the tank:wink:
