I know that Mike that is why I took the PHosban off in the first place, I was unsure or what to do and if it would hurt the Fauna stuff so i stopped. i havent ran Phos ban for like almost 2 weeks and i due notice it when its not running. SInce the BIo will be here this week no sense in running the phos for like 2-3 days

dose 3 drops every two days until your nutrients are down, then 1drop every 3 days.

ok So the trial is still going on strong and everything is looking amzing just recieved the ULTRA BIO. And Mike sent me out some MORE BAK and MIN S what a great guy. So as instructed i dosed the 3 drops as per rquested every 2 days. my PO4 was up last test was .03 so lets see what tey are this time in 4 days from now...

other then that started feeding the clams again was told to give it a week to allow the NO 3 to come down. the colors started up again just from the food.. man that stuff is wicked.... other then that i have head out on a RO/DI run will take some pic's once i get back hoem and post some of before and after....

Once we can see what way its going we can adjust your dosage accordingly

Mike i have a question for ya. After i get the nutrients down with the BIO and i go from 3 drops every 2 days to 1 drop every 2 days will the 1 drop actually keep up with the PO4.

And 3 drops for a 150 gal tank that is actually enough to bring the PO4 down to 0.

You have been started on a very baby dose to see how you tank reacts, you probably will need to increase this.

As for once the nutrients are down, you will just use a maintenance dose which will be worked out once the nutrients are down.

Hey there all Reefer's, well good news the PO4 Aka Phosphates are coming down all ready, man that was fast I just started to dose this stuff and already it taken the crap out.... start 2 days ago and it has gone from 0.03 to 0.01 and I was at half the dosing regime. the nitrates have came down too from 15PPM to 5 PPM so its all good.

Im using the ULTRA BIO now and its seems to work really fast as Mike has stated. the clams appear to hav emore color then before:mrgreen:.

Couple of things.

Test the tank again in two days, the Bio is working fast and you need to go on maintenance as soon as the pO4 drops, at this point you can add 1ml a day of MIN-s direct to the tank also as a tester watching out for any backward steps.

We need to get some better photos of the colours though ;)
