Well after 2 weeks of cycling its time to get some light on the subject today but first I had to get my Profilux 3ex all setup & tuned in. Was having some issues with getting my conductivity probe to calibrate. Turns out there was a problem with the board that the conductivity probe connects to, so................on went the repair mans hat. Opened up both my 2ex & 3ex, removed the board from both and took the one from my 2ex & put it in to the 3ex, updated the firmware to the latest & BAM.........we now have calibrated conductivity, pH & Temp probes.
With the issues solved with the controller it was time to get it back into the upper cabinet & plug in the control cables to the EVG cards for my LED's, program my 2 power bars, program my light cycle & tuck all the wires away. Once that was all down it was time to move a few of the corals that I still have remaining moved over to the 300. Got my 5 maxi mini's removed from the rocks they where on as I did not want to take the chance of any colonial hydroids transfered to the new tank. Moved the small chucks of frogspawn, hammer & octospawn, orange plate & the few other frags that I have managed to save. |
I don't believe you
No pics .... |

Thanks Jeff
And now for the SPS test, my good friends Tony & Martin where kind enough to give me a few pieces to test out the tank. So far everything is looking good & that is very exciting for me. http://i765.photobucket.com/albums/x...ps6dc17bfd.jpg http://i765.photobucket.com/albums/x...pseb350c6a.jpg http://i765.photobucket.com/albums/x...ps6b097b02.jpg http://i765.photobucket.com/albums/x...psf0f0c7db.jpg |

Still looks so empty to me but getting the fish moved in soon will be better. Need to talk the wife into letting me do a big SPS order from Reef Wholesale soon to help fill it up. Would like to get a few Acro colonies as well as some milli's & digi's. Got the back and the top of the canopy part on tonight, just have to do the front and the top & back of the very top of the stand, a few filler piece's and then move onto getting the 60 gal in place. |
Nice starter collection Greg
And all that growth space is awesome Both you and Wayne are making me want to do a re-scape |
The setup looks great. I know when the corals grow it'll look spectacular. Good luck with that "patience" thing everyone keeps talking about with reefing.
Wish I had the space, time, energy & $$ to upgrade mine to a 300g display but that's just not in the works. Looking forward for updates in the future. Anthony |

:jaw: did you call the cops yet, someone snuck in and ripped off most of your rock. man the nerve of some people. Steve |
The plan was for minimal rock in this tank as I have 10 tangs going into it and want them to have lots of swim room.
Might add a few more pieces of rock yet but I need to get some more acrylic rod first. |

this one got the attention of the tech geek/electrician/led freak/diyer in me. I used inventronics drivers on my led build as well and i love them. do you have your driver setup documented anywhere? |
As of 20 mins ago the 165 gal tank is now EMPTY!! All the fish have been moved into there new home & they look so much happier in there much bigger digs.
