This was a valve to suit just your needs, if I get some extra time I will build one to see exactly how it will react, the weight of the spool is going to be correct and the upper bleed in the spool needs to be figured properly, if I can find an ideal plumbing fitting to use as a housing then it will save a lot of time and effort.
