You can either tap the hole (10mm dia) or shove a slightly larger silicone hose into it.

Can you help me with some advice on installing a waste drain line in the Bubble King Mini 180 Skimmer?

I will be going away for two weeks and normally my skimmer cup fills up in one week. I'm not sure what kind or size of hose or fitting would work best to fit into the drain hole on the skimmer collection cup.
