they will be fine for anything up high. the bottom may not support SPS. LPS and softies should not be a problem. I had them on the bottom of my tank and they were fine. Sorry it took so long to get back to you.

I checked them out online, they dont seem very bright? (Old technology?)

I have a 72gal bowfront (48x18x22), and plan on hanging LED lights as pendants over the tank. Do you think they would provide enough light to support softies, LPS and some SPS? I'm leaning towards the Radions, which seem to put out a LOT more light and have UV output as well. But these might tide me over?

They are ecoxotic Panorama LED Retro 36 Model # 8220. I have two of them

I used them in my 24" deep tank. softies would still grow at bottom of tank.
